Impossible Music is the fifth instalment of field recording albums created each year since 2015. I think this is the final one. I am very happy (and lucky) to have visited Brazil, Russia, France, Italy, Slovenia, Sweden, Czech, Berlin and different parts of the UK this year. The recordings come from my visits. Edits are simple with straightforward top and tail processing. Feel free to use these field recordings as you like, no need to credit but its nice if you do. Enjoy.
Recordings made on field trips alone and with Helen Collard, Gerard Lebik, Jorge Boehringer, Eleanor Cully and Phill Niblock.

If I told you an album recorded with pulse generators and a shortwave and distortion soars you’d be sensible to not believe me but this is a glorious noise in full flight. unruh2525
Pulsing drones give way to disarming melodies on the new one from Ophtalmologist, with all the deep-sea spookiness the title implies. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 22, 2023
